TaxiCRM Free-Use License Version 1.0 Copyright (c) 2026 By Trends LTD. All rights reserved. TaxiCRM is free to download and free to use, including in a business that earns money. It is not open-source software: By Trends LTD keeps all rights in it, and the licence below describes exactly what you may and may not do. If something you want to do is not covered, ask first. 1. WHAT YOU MAY DO By Trends LTD grants you a free, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to: (a) download, install and run TaxiCRM on servers that you, or the company you work for, control, for any lawful purpose, including operating a for-profit taxi or private-hire business; (b) install and configure TaxiCRM on behalf of a customer, for that customer's own use, provided you do not charge for the software itself (charging for your own installation or support work is fine); (c) modify the source code for your own use, and keep backup copies. 2. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO You may not: (a) sell, resell, rent, lease, sublicense or otherwise commercialise TaxiCRM itself; (b) redistribute TaxiCRM, or any modified version of it, to anyone else -- free or paid, as source or as an archive -- including by uploading it to another website, repository, marketplace or file-sharing service. Point people to https://taxicrm.website/ instead; (c) offer TaxiCRM, or a service built mainly on it, as a hosted or managed product to third parties (running it for your own company, or for a company you own or control, is fine); (d) remove or alter the copyright notices, this licence, or the "free software by By Trends LTD" credit shown in the application footer and About page; (e) present TaxiCRM, or work derived from it, as your own creation. 3. OWNERSHIP TaxiCRM is licensed, not sold. By Trends LTD retains all right, title and interest in it. Nothing in this licence transfers any intellectual-property right to you except the limited licence in section 1. Any modifications you make for your own use remain subject to this licence. 4. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS TaxiCRM bundles Bootstrap and Font Awesome Free, which are licensed to you under their own terms (MIT, CC BY 4.0 and SIL OFL 1.1). See THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt. Those terms apply to those components and are not changed by this licence. 5. YOUR DATA AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES TaxiCRM runs on your own server and stores your data there; By Trends LTD does not receive it. You are solely responsible for that data, for taking and testing backups, for securing your server, and for complying with the laws that apply to your business -- including data-protection law, employment law and any tax-invoicing or fiscalisation requirements. Invoices produced by TaxiCRM are internal payment records, not fiscalised tax receipts. 6. NO WARRANTY TAXICRM IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. By Trends LTD does not warrant that the software is error-free, that it meets your requirements, or that its financial figures are correct for your accounting or tax purposes. Verify anything that matters with a qualified accountant. 7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BY TRENDS LTD AND ITS CONTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE OR BUSINESS, OR FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE TAXICRM, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Nothing in this licence excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. 8. SUPPORT AND DONATIONS No support, updates or maintenance are promised. Voluntary donations to By Trends LTD are welcome and appreciated, but they do not buy any additional rights, priority or warranty. 9. TERMINATION This licence ends automatically if you breach it.
